Love me some Speedy Chef. Of course the ground steak sandwiches are awesome, but these dipped cones! Try chocolate with the chocolate dip. So good!
Dine-in, but you can get your order to go.. I had the flounder sandwich with a side of onion rings and a medium Pepsi Zero. My meal was excellent. Cashier was polite and helpful. Plenty of room for parking. Plenty of room inside for seating and tables. They have really good fast food. They have a large menu to choose from and a large selection of ice cream and milk shakes!
Best burger in Mt Airy. Looks like an unassuming lunch counter but is probably the best meal you are gonna get in town without breaking the bank.

The kind lady at the gas station gave it as a recommendation for a place to get a salad! I wasn't brave enough to try one of their 3 salad options, but the Chefburger did not disappoint (I don't do American cheese, so no cheese)! Friendly service, very quick, tasty... Everything I had hoped for once I laid eyes upon this quick-service burger (and salad!) joint! Next time I come through, I'll be confident enough to try the salad...
It's a great older staple of the area. Highly recommend for a quick bite to eat or spot to stop in at for lunch while working. Friendly people, tasty food, just like you'd expect. There's a cool old fashioned ice cream station to the left hand side that's got the classics, even dipped comes! Just a friendly, tasty spot. Very highly recommend
This was our first time eating at Speedy Chef while visiting Mount Airy. The burgers and fries were delicious. The service was great and fast.
Came and got this beautiful and delicious banana boat. Everyone was friendly and the employee did awesome in making this masterpiece. Would definitely share with my small family again.
Stopped here for lunch. Had a cheeseburger, fries, hush puppies and drink, all was tasty! Staff was friendly. Prices were great! Restaurant was clean and plenty of seating. We got our food fast. If I ever come back through from WV I will be back! Highly recommend!
This place is one of my favorites! They have a wonderful burger and fries. So far it is the best. Plenty of seating inside and parking spot outside. Next time I am in town, I will be stopping by.
